This pretty clip saved me from a serious head injury. I fell and hit the back of my head, and my banana clip took the hit and dispersed the force. I am wearing it right now, it survived intact. I had a huge banana-shaped bump on my head but no concussion. So, wear your banana clips, friends.

Clip is a good size, and can hold my hair in either a half-up or full twist. Like the color and glitter, enough to be fun and unique, but nothing on it says Elf or holiday, so it can be worn anytime.

I purchased the clip in Blonde. It's a very pretty pearlescent cream color -- and not just for those with blonde hair! It feels sturdy and I like that the teeth are a bit flexible, not brittle like some other claw clips. I have very fine hair but a lot of it, and I was worried at first that the clip wouldn't hold it all since it has a pretty slim profile. It turned out to be the perfect size! Really happy with this purchase and would definitely buy in other colors.

Listen yall, I don’t leave a ton of reviews on things, but I had to do this one. I don’t know what they use to glue down these rhinestones but I can tell you that they aren’t going anywhere! My claw clip has survived multiple swims in the pool and two trips to the beach with vigorous waves and not a single gem is missing or has fallen off!
